Members of the Castleford FFA Chapter recently placed second in the Meats Evaluation Career Development Event. For this CDE, students had to identify various meat cuts from sheep, swine, and beef. Students also had to grade beef carcasses and answer questions on cuts of meat that they had judged. Team members, left to right, were Sariah Cabrito, Abby Blick, Abigale Hale, and Jade Etelu. Blick placed 6th-high individual in the district, Hale placed 7th-high individual in the district, and Etelu placed 4th-high individual in the district.
